Summer is near, come to Croatia with us!
First stop is new Croatian Ibiza, Zrce beach on the island of Pag in the Adriatic Sea. Water is blue, beach is white and dancing doesn't stop. Either hit after beach party from 6 pm to 10 pm or get your dancing outfit ready and be prepared to dance until early morning hours. Or if you want (and can take it) hit both dancing events and sleep away the next day (until dancing starts again). Crowd is young and willing to share dancing podium with people from all over the world, just like you. Most Croatian people speak English, Italian or German, so communication is never a problem. Stick with your own native language or brush up on your foreign language skills, it's up to you. One thing is for certain, foreign language or not, you gonna have a great time.
For a bit "older" crowd we recommend visit to Plitvice Lakes, first national park of Croatia and one with Unesco World Heritage status since 1979. It is 4 hours by bus from Split and it is well worth the trip, it is one of the Most visited tourist attractions in Croatia. Ticket costs $ 15 in the summer. There are 16 lakes, divided into Upper Lakes and Lower Lakes. There are 12 Upper Lakes and 4 Lower Lakes, miles and miles of paths and hiking trails, so you can choose to do harder hike and go up the hill or other way around. There is also a scenic boat tour that is included in the price of your ticket. Park is home for more than 160 different kind of birds and water is full of trout that you can sample in one of the restaurants within the park. It is a treat for all of us nature lovers out there.
